Council of ministers consists of four categories of ministers;
  1. Cabinet Ministers
  2. States Minister ( Independent Charge )
  3. States Minister
  4. Deputy Minister.

Here we will be providing you list of our cabinet ministry only, most of us get confuse between the council of minister and cabinet minister and think that both are same , but there is huge difference between them.

Difference Between Council of Ministers and Cabinet Ministers :
    • Council of Ministers :-  It has three types Cabinet Minister, Minister of state and Minister of State Independent charge, it doesn’t have collective functions and it is bigger body consisting of 35-60 Ministers.
    • Cabinet Minister : –   It is part of council of minister, they have collective functions and they meet very frequently to deliberate and take decisions regarding the working of government. Cabinet Minister is smaller body consisting of 20 to 30 ministers.
